Rising Star – George Jae-Hyun Cho Show “Jesa”

Gallery House artist, George Jae-Hyun Cho a rising star is quickly being snatched up by Canadian collectors.  With prices ranging from the $850 – 3000+ level his works are affordable and beautifully executed.  Having visited Jingdezhen, China following many years of academic studies from University of British Columbia, Sheridan College, followed by the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (NSCAD University), where Cho received his BFA in ceramics.

Jingdezhen is situated in a mountainous area and is regarded in the world as the “porcelain city” since the Song dynasty– it has a long history of over 1700 years of porcelain making. There Cho further honed his skills and incorporated the “white gold” clay that is found in Jingdezhen into some of his works featured in the “Jesa” solo exhibition.
